Click on the button in the top row to perform a specific function. (See "Map Buttons" in Help).
To zoom in/out by a certain percentage, click on the Slider on the left of the map display area . Plus will zoom in more, Minus will zoom out more.
To move the map image in the appropriate direction (North, South, East, West), click on the white arrows on the blue border of the map display area.
There are two pre-canned zoom functions, Section-Township-Range and Jurisdiction. Click on the drop-down arrow to display the list of choices, then click on one of the items to select it. The map will automatically zoom to the item selected.
To use the buffer function, a parcel must be selected. Then type the distance (in feet) in the white box under "Buffer Distance", and click the "Buffer" button. All parcels within the specified number of feet of the original selected parcel will be selected (i.e., highlighted).
